Frequently asked questions
E26 is the standard 'medium' screw base found in most US household lamps (26mm diameter). E12 is the smaller 'candelabra' base often used in chandeliers and night lights (12mm diameter).
IP44 is splash-proof but not immersion-proof. For direct water exposure like inside a shower enclosure, higher ratings like IP65 or specific 'Wet Location' rated fixtures are recommended.
