FAQ
Frequently asked questions
For tall cabinets (pantry, utility), place handles 2-3" from the top edge of the top door and 2-3" from the bottom edge of the bottom door. Middle doors: center handles vertically or align with adjacent doors for visual consistency.
Knobs follow the same corner positions as handles: base cabinets—upper corner, 2-3" from top, 1-2" from side; wall cabinets—lower corner, 2-3" from bottom, 1-2" from side; drawers—center vertically, 1-2" from side.
Base cabinets: 2-3" from top edge, 1-2" from side edge (upper corner). Wall cabinets: 2-3" from bottom edge, 1-2" from side edge (lower corner). Drawers: Center vertically, 1-2" from side.
Handles (pulls) are longer and typically placed horizontally. Knobs are smaller and can be placed in corner positions. Both follow similar measurement guidelines but handles may span more area.
Handles should align horizontally across a row of cabinets for visual consistency. Base cabinet handles align with each other, wall cabinet handles align separately. Drawer handles typically center on drawer.
Measure from top or bottom edge (depending on cabinet type) and from side edge. Standard: 2.5" from top/bottom, 1.5" from side for most cabinets. Adjust for oversized handles or custom preferences.
